The all-wheel drive Dodge Hornet is offered in two trims GT and R/T each with their own engine. The GT trim is powered by a is powered by a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The R/T trim is powered by a 1.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor that produces 288 horsepower and 32 miles of all-electric range mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers will likely be surprised by the level of standard equipment that comes on the base GT. An infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi hotspot technology, power windows and door locks, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, 4 USB ports, heated power folding side mirrors, LED headlights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The R/T models have all of the same features with a few minor differences including 18-inch wheels, a 306-volt battery system with a 15.5 kWh capacity, bigger brakes, heated seats, power driver lumbar, driver seat memory, and a heated leather steering wheel.
