The Subaru Legacy is a mid-sized car, competing with some of the best-selling cars in America such as the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. Those cars however are front-wheel drive, while the Legacy comes standard with all-wheel drive, giving a distinct advantage to the Subaru for anyone who lives where it snows or even frequently rains. In addition, the Subaru Legacy actually undercuts its two main competitors with a lower base price.

2022 Subaru WRX Test Drive Video Review

The Subaru WRX is powered by a 2.4L turbocharged horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine, it produces 271 horsepower, which is fed to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed CVT transmission. The WRX comes in three trims: Standard, Premium, Limited and GT. Standard WRX models come with 17-inch wheels and a 7-inch multimedia touchscreen infotainment system, which features HD Radio, smartphone integration, 2USB ports, six speakers and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and audio streaming. Automatic climate control, rear backup camera, tilt/telescopic steering, full power accessories and cloth sport bucket front seats with driver's 6-way manual adjustability round out the base features. The WRX Premium comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, heated front seats and mirrors, LED fog lamps and a rear spoiler. Limited trim includes everything from the Premium trim as well as a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat, leather-trimmed upholstery, power glass moonroof and LED headlights. Subaru's EyeSight driver assist technology is available on the WRX Limited and includes active safety features like adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking and lane departure warning. The new GT trim adds an 11-speaker sound system, integrated navigation system, adaptive cruise control, remote engine start, head-up display, an active lane departure system, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, pedestrian detection and a driver attention alert. Safety features include big anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control, a host of airbags, and the confidence of Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system.

2022 Honda Civic Test Drive Video Review

The 2022 Honda Civic is offered as a sedan or a hatchback with plenty of trim levels and a variety of body styles, there's a Civic for nearly every need. The Si is only available as a sedan. The LX and Sport receive a 2.0L i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that produces 158-horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. The EX, EX-L, Touring, and Sport Touring models are equipped with a 1.5L turbo i-VTEC engine that produces 180 horsepower and 177-lb feet of torque. The CVT transmission paired with the 1.5L turbocharged engine vehicles extend gas mileage up to 42 mpg on the highway and 33 mpg in the city. The base LX comes well equipped leaving almost nothing out, it includes full LED headlights, auto-high beams, automatic climate control, push-button start, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and CVT transmission. The Sport trim adds some exterior styling finishes, 18-inch aluminum wheels, remote start, proximity keyless entry, Sport mode drive, leather steering and shift-knob, and 8-speaker system. The EX/EX-L models has 17-inch alloy wheels, remote start, heated mirrors, sunroof, Dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, rear center armrest with cupholders, additional USB port, and LaneWatch blind spot monitor. Exclusive to the EX-L are leather interior, 6-speed manual transmission, and power driver's seat. Top of the line Touring/Sport Touring Civic increase the list of features with 18-inch machined alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lights, auto-dimming rearview mirror, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, integrated navigation, wireless phone charging, 12-speaker Bose sound system, front and rear parking sensor, rear-cross traffic alert, and low speed automatic braking. Leather seats are standard on this trim, and they are heated and power-adjustable for driver and passenger. The Si is very similar to the Touring adding specific features such as 200 horsepower from the same 1.5L turbo engine, 6-speed manual transmission with rev-matching downshifts, limited slip front differential, sport suspension, bigger brakes, performance all-season tires, and Si sport from seats. Safety takes a strong presence in the new Civic. Of course, it includes ten airbags, but low tire pressure warning, backup camera and stability control are also standard on every Civic. Honda Sensing system, is also standard adding a suite of safety features that includes Lane Keep Assist which will monitor and can even nudge the vehicle back into its lane, forward collision mitigation that will detect an impending accident and can even apply the brakes in certain scenarios, automatic high beams, traffic sign reader, and driver attention monitor.

2024 Lucid Air Pure Review

The Lucid Air is capable of 800-1111 horsepower which produces a 0-60 mph speed of 2.7 seconds. Lucid claims a range of 520 miles and that DC Charging stations will provide 180 miles of range on a 15-minute charge. The Lucid Air is among the most aerodynamic cars in the world with a 0.21 coefficient of drag. The exterior lighting is designed entirely in-house, Intelligent Micro Lens Array headlights and a sweeping speedform taillight creates an uninterrupted impression of light and depth. The rear seat provides expansive space for three adults with tons of legroom. The optional Glass Canopy roof spans the entire cabin providing sky views to everyone in the car with a slew of protective interlayers to block out heat and sunlight. The 34-inch Glass Cockpit display provides information in 5K resolution while the Pilot Panel puts customization at your fingertips. The Lucid Air is available in four trims Pure, Touring, Grand Touring and Grand Touring Performance. Even the Pure trim is well equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, an adaptive suspension, regenerative one-pedal brakes, 3 skid plates, a power front trunk, LED headlamps and daytime running lights. The interior features automatic dual-zone climate control with separate rear controls, an HD radio, navigation system with voice activation, cruise control, Bluetooth, and smart phone connectivity. The Sapphire trim sits at the top-of-the-lineup with heated and ventilated front seats, a 12-way power massaging driver seat, 21 premium speakers, adaptive cruise control, surround view cameras. Safety features include 8 airbags including driver and passenger knee airbags, a rear view camera, stability, and traction control systems. Additional standard safety features automated parking sensors, active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, pedestrian detection, active driver attention alert and traffic sign recognition.

2025 BMW 5 Series Review

The 530 I and i xDrive are both powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that produces 255 horsepower. The 540 i xDrive on the other hand is powered by a 3.0L turbocharged 6-cylinder engine that produces 375 horsepower. The 530 i is available in rear-wheel drive while the rest of the trims on 530 and 540 are only available in all-wheel drive. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, keyless entry and push button start leather steering wheel, power lumbar front seating, power folding heated mirrors, power sunroof, driver seat memory, cruise control and 19-inch wheels. The infotainment system includes a 14.9-inch screen located in the dashboard, a 12-speaker stereo, six USB ports, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, wireless device charging, and 6 USB ports. The 5-series standard safety systems include automated parking sensors, active lane departure, active blind spot, forward collision mitigation with left turn assist, rear collision mitigation, front pedestrian detection and a traffic sign information system.
